In production.Short film carried through voice messages. It’s a story about friendship, identity, and about dealing with distance in close relationships. Shot in Stockholm in October 2022
CARMEN
In production.Short documentary about life in times of dictatorship, and life after as well. CARMEN tells a story that is very similar to that of other older immigrants in Sweden–alternating through the lense of a teenager growing up in terror, and of an immigrant arriving at the other side of the globe from where home is. This project is produced in collaboration with Camila Mahzouni and it’s the first installment in an upcoming documentary series.
5 elements — an ode to growing up.
In production.Spoken word film. It explores the five elements in form of color, tempo and image. The story plays with lights in relation to self-development and text. In collaboration with Ida Ippolito.

RED
Video and photography project exploring the color red; a color that symbolizes fire, warmth and the coming of summer. In collaboration with Jonathan Sosa.Scope: planning, directing, filming, styling, and editing.
Fairy/elf
In production.Experimental short film about a lost elf. In collaboration with Ida Ippolito (camera and acting), Taavi Kaisen (lights) and Oliwer Carpman (actor).

Agua
In production.My first word was Agua, spanish for water, and growing up I’ve always felt drawn to water. This project seeks to explore agua through movements and color. In collaboration with Ida Ippolito.

Lights on
Lights have always fascinated me. The reflection of the sun through a glass of water, sunshine seeping through the blinds, parts of my home being illuminated throughout the day— these are some of the things that inspired me to experiment more with lights.For “LIGHTS ON”, the concept was manufacture and capture lights in darker spaces. In collaboration with Ida Ippolito, Taavi Kaisen (film crew student/lights wizard) and Oliwer Carpman (story academy/script student)

Film is not dead
Ever since I found my grandfather’s old film camera years ago, analogue has had a special place in my heart. Everything from hearing the sound of the shutter button to learning about exposure, shutter speed and aperture got me hooked. It’s been a journey filled with
excitement when holding the actual pictures in my hands, as well as frustration because of blank film rolls or overexposed pictures, but that’s something that I’ve realized is also part of the voyage. Cameras used:
Zenit 19 (Зенит) 35mm film SLR, produced by Krasnogorsk Mechanical Works, KMZ, in the USSR from 1979 to 1987.
